About the Role We are looking for a pioneering and results-driven Account Executive to be the foundational member of our go-to-market team. As our first dedicated sales hire, you will have the unique opportunity to build our Mid-Market and SMB sales engine from the ground up.

This is not an SDR or support role; you will be the architect and owner of your territory. You will run a full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to demoing our platform and closing new business. Your mission will be to turn our existing inbound interest into a predictable revenue stream and build the playbook that will define how Trébol sells for years to come. What You'll Do:

  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: You will manage the entire sales process for the mid-market and SMB segment. You will also collaborate in the enterprise sales process. This includes prospecting, qualifying all inbound leads, running discovery calls, delivering compelling product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build the Sales Playbook: You will be instrumental in creating and refining our sales process. You'll identify the most effective outreach strategies, develop talk tracks, perfect the demo, and document what works to build a repeatable and scalable sales engine.
  • Master Pipeline & Forecasting: You will meticulously manage your sales pipeline in our CRM, providing accurate forecasting and clear visibility into the health of your business. You will set the standard for operational excellence for our future sales team.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer: You will act as a critical feedback loop to our product and marketing teams, translating customer needs and market insights into actionable intelligence that shapes our product roadmap and strategy.

Location

Mexico City (Hybrid). This position is based in Mexico City. As Mexico is a priority market for Trébol, the ability to meet in person with key clients, partners, and attend industry events is critical for success in this role.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A Proven Closer: You have 2-4 years of experience in a B2B SaaS closing role (Account Executive or similar) with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, preferably within SaaS, or for a company selling to financial institutions. You know how to get a deal across the finish line.
  • A Hunter and a Builder: You are ambitious, action-oriented, and thrive on the challenge of building a territory from scratch. You aren't afraid to pick up the phone, but you are also strategic about how you build your pipeline.
  • An Exceptional Communicator: You have outstanding presentation and communication skills in both English and Spanish. You can command a room, lead discovery calls with confidence, and articulate a complex value proposition with simplicity and clarity.
  • A Self-Starter: You are highly autonomous and know how to manage your time to hit your goals. You are mature in your working style, comfortable with direct feedback, and don't need hand-holding.
  • Operationally Excellent: You are proficient with modern sales tools (CRM is a must) and understand that a clean pipeline is a profitable pipeline.
  • Genuinely Curious: You have a real interest in technology, finance, and solving complex problems for customers.

- Initial Q&A: A written questionnaire to understand your sales philosophy and how you approach building a territory from the ground up.

- Meet the Team: A conversation with our CEO and key team members to discuss your track record, ambition, and how you'd build our sales engine.

- Live Sales Challenge (Paid Project): The top 2-3 candidates will join us for a one-week, paid project. You’ll be given a real-world go-to-market problem, allowing you to showcase your strategic thinking and execution skills.
